Colm O'Neill in line for comeback as Cuthbert names Cork side for Kildare clash

The Rebels star is named on the bench having been sidelined for all of last year.

CORK MANAGER BRIAN Cuthbert has rung the changes for the national league clash with Kildare this weekend.

The Rebels began their campaign with a straight-forward defeat of Westmeath on Leeside on Sunday.

Colm O’Neill looks likely to make his first appearance in the blood and bandages since he recovered from a cruciate injury; the Ballyclough man is named amongst the subs.

Skipper Michael Shields and Fermoy’s Tomás Clancy are injured, meanwhile. Tom Clancy goes to full back while Fintan Goold is named at centre back.

U21 stars Brian O’Driscoll and Conor Dorman get their first chance to impress at the senior grade while Eoin Cadogan and Aidan Walsh are with Jimmy Barry Murphy’s hurlers.
