COLM BEGLEY HAS not been named in the Laois starting fifteen for their Leinster first round championship opener against Wicklow, reportedly due to ‘disciplinary reasons.’
Begley played for his club Parnells in the Dublin championship on Wednesday night and according to Newstalk’s Off The Ball team, there are reports he has been left out as a result.
Begley played in the half back line as the North Dublin side lost to Lucan Sarsfields in the opening round of the club competition.
Meanwhile Ross Munnelly is selected in the full forward line for the Aughrim clash, and after Padraig Clancy’s retirement he is now the sole survivor from the class of 2003.
Throw in is at 3.30pm.
