IRELAND’S IN-FORM DEFENDER Seamus Coleman could return to the Everton side at Tottenham on Sunday, while Gerard Deulofeu is giving Roberto Martinez plenty to ponder.
Defender Coleman was an unused substitute in the 2-1 win over Aston Villa on Saturday after sitting out the previous two games with a hamstring injury.
A hamstring problem also saw on-loan forward Deulofeu return to parent club Barcelona in mid-December for treatment, but he is back at Goodison Park, handing manager Martinez some welcome selection dilemmas as Everton chase a top-four finish in the Premier League.
“They are very important players and we have had good news on them. I would say Seamus is probably in the right category (to play),” Martinez told the club’s official website.

“Gerard is back from Spain, is training and is really excited and enthusiastic about getting back. Obviously we will have to assess him to see how quickly we can get him match fit.
“From a medical point of view, he is fit and that’s really positive and we have to make sure we give him the right doses of work. We’re really excited at having those two back.”
