That's going to leave a mark.

Definitive proof -- if it were needed -- that headbutting someone wearing a helmet is a bad idea

And it’s even worse when you headbutt your own player.

ANYONE WHO HAS ever coached sport at any level knows that it can be a frustrating experience.

You spend hours working on the perfect gameplan only to watch the whole thing fall apart before your eyes because your players haven’t listened to you properly or executed it poorly.

You might want to shout at them, but you know that’s unlikely to achieve anything so the best course of action is to sit them down and explain everything again in a calm, collected manner.

What you don’t want to do, ever, is headbutt one of your players especially if a) they’re only a teenager, b) they’re wearing an American football helmet or c) all of the above.

Someone tell that to 58-year old Conquitt County High School football coach Rush Propst who headbutted one of his players after a poor play.

The result was hardly surprising:

The strange thing — well stranger thing – about his actions are that his team were winning and won 52-31 to extend their unbeaten streak to 29 games on the way to another state title game.
