THERE’S A FEAST of top class football action taking place this weekend, with many of the top club teams of the past number of years featuring in the 14 games.
Last year’s All-Ireland club SFC champions St Vincent’s are in action in the Dublin semi-finals, while Castlebar Mitchells – who lost out in the Croke Park decider last March- are back in the Mayo final.
2013 and 2012 champions St Brigid’s and Crossmaglen Rangers are both in action in their respective county finals in Roscommon and Armagh.
In total there are 11 county finals, all of which taking place on Sunday, although Saturday proves to be just as mouth-watering with the Dublin SFC semi finals in Parnell Park.
With the Brogan brothers, Kevin McManamon and Tomás Quinn shooting the lights out in the quarter-finals, there’s sure to be no shortage of scores or stand-out performances.
