It’s a pretty straightforward way to elicit an opinion on Clint Dempsey’s performance at the World Cup — but what if Dempsey himself is the one asking the question?
The former Fulham and Spurs attacker threw on a grey zippie over his US jersey — hardly a disguise! — and hit the streets of New York with an ESPN film crew to grill unsuspecting passers-by.
Just like a similar stunt with baseball star Matt Harvey, the results are pretty funny.
