DAVY FITZGERALD HAS named his team for Clare’s Munster senior hurling semi-final against Waterford tomorrow, with both John Conlon and Oisin O’Brien recovering from injury.
The Clonlara pair missed last month’s Allianz League replay against the Déise through injury but have returned to fitness in time for Sunday’s showdown in Thurles.
Conlon, who has been sidelined for a number of weeks having sustained an ankle injury in the league semi-final win over Kilkenny, starts in the forward line.
His inclusion is a major boost for the Banner county’s chances while O’Brien’s return comes after he underwent emergency surgery on a punctured lung in an Austrian hospital in early May.
From the team that sealed Clare’s first league title since 1978, Jack Browne and Aaron Cunningham drop out with the latter sidelined with a hamstring complaint.

Throw-in at Semple Stadium is at 4pm, with the game live on RTÉ 1.
