  • Patrick Kelly (Inagh-Kilnamona)

Source: Has emerged as the main man between the posts staving off the challenge by 2009 Clare All-Ireland U21 winner Donal Tuohy.
  • Domhnall O’Donovan (Clonlara)

Source: A fast and aggressive defender who won the 2009 All-Ireland U2 with Clare and the 2010 Fitzgibbon Cup with NUIG. Won both those honours alongside twin brother Cormac.
  • David McInerney (Tulla)

Source: The young defender is in magnificent form and has won man-of-the-match awards in his last three games for the Clare senior and U21 hurling sides.
  • Cian Dillon (Crusheen)

Source: Full back on that 2009 All Ireland U21 winning side, Dillon has also won two Clare SHC medals with Crusheen. Battled back from a hip injury to play this season.
  • Brendan Bugler (Whitegate)

Source: One of the experienced faces in the Clare squad, Bugler has been involved since 2007 and won an Allstar award last year for some excellent displays.
  • Patrick Donnellan (O’Callaghan Mills)

Source: Another experienced lynchpin in the Banner rearguard, Donnellan’s performing of the sweeper role has been crucial to Clare’s recent victories.
  • Patrick O’Connor (Tubber)

Source: The defender lined out for CIT alongside several current Cork players in last year’s Fitzgibbon Cup final. Also has two All-Ireland U21 medals to his name from 2009 and 2012.
  • Colm Galvin (Clonlara)

Source: Galvin is still eligible for the U21 ranks next year and his recent form has been exceptional. Played on the Mary Immaculate College side in this year’s Fitzgibbon Cup final.
  • Colin Ryan (Newmarket-on-Fergus)

Source: An outstanding freetaker, Ryan was man-of-the-match when his club won their first Clare SHC title in 31 years last season. Hit 0-9 in the 2009 All-Ireland U21 final in Croke Park.
  • John Conlon (Clonlara)

Source: A hugely influential attacker, Conlon burst to prominence for the 2009 Clare U21 side. Hit the winning point in the 2010 Fitzgibbon Cup final for NUI Galway.
  • Tony Kelly (Ballyea)

Source: Still only 19 but easily one of the most gifted players in the country. How Cork attempt to stifle his threat will be vital.

  • Paraic Collins (Cratloe)

  • Darach Honan (Clonlara).

Source: A towering attacker who excelled during Clare’s 2009 All-Ireland U21 winning campaign, firing home some stunning goals. Has suffered injury setbacks in recent years.
  • Conor McGrath (Cratloe)

Source: Along with O’Connor, has won two All-Ireland U21 medals in 2009 and 2012. Also endured injury difficulties over the last year.
