CLARE ENJOYED A successful trip to Ruislip this afternoon as they claimed the points on offer in Division 4 of the Allianz football league.
The Banner had nine points to spare over London to claim a victory that sees them move to the top of the table as they maintain their bid for promotion.
Clare had previously defeated Waterford and drawn with Leitrim. They now stand on five points, one clear of Wicklow and two ahead of both Tipperary and Leitrim, albeit having played a game more.
Goals from Gary Brennan and Enda Coughlan enabled Colm Collins side to triumph this afternoon. They were in front by 2-7 to 1-3 at the interval as they laid the foundations for their victory.

The return of injured attacker David Tubridy also helped Clare’s cause while the availability of senior hurler Podge Collins and the form of youngster Martin O’Leary ensured the Banner closed out the game.
