IT’S A SHORT ONE, but it’s a good one. There is still plenty of healing to be done after the disappointment of seeing Ireland let their chance slip away at the death against the All Blacks on Sunday, but there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic about the future.
None more so than the individual performances of our best players, including Cian Healy. The loosehead prop showed that he – like so many of his teammates – is a world-class player at his best. We’re hoping there is plenty more of the above to come when the Six Nations rolls around.

Came out before the game and gave an honest opinion when he was asked his about his personal view of the Haka, and then goes out on match day and does that.
Respect Mr. Healy!
Yes and I watched it back and it looked like he never once looked at the haka or made eye contact with them!
Heard somebody give great advice….to always be yourself, unless you can be Cian Healy, always be Cian Healy!
In fairness to Healy, he talked the talk and then he walked the walk (all over McCaw).
Complete respect! if your going to say things like “I hate the haka” you need to back it up like that!!
Brilliant tackle and big hit, just makes it more sour that McCaw walks away with the win :(
This was the only test match in 2013 that the All Blacks were never in the lead once during regular time (80mins). For me at least it was evidence we can rightly aspire to be no.1 in green aswell, if we take that level of performance as our entry bar and consistently try and step it up another notch.
“Whatcha gonna do, brother, when the largest arms in the world and HEALAMANIA run WILD on you?!?”
Who cares what he did!!! They were beaten.
Yeah, guess we know who got the last laugh. That said, not many people manage to do that to McCaw.
It was a right old clatter alright!
