KERRY HAVE BOOKED their place in the semi-finals of the Christy Ring Cup after an eight point win over Kildare in Newbridge today.
Three goals in the last 15 minutes of the first half was enough to see Eamonn Kelly’s men join Meath in the final four; Padraig Boyle (2) and Shane Nolan finding the net for the Kingdom to give them a 3-9 to 0-11 lead at the break.
Kildare stayed in touch when goalkeeper Paul Dermondy raised the green flag with a penalty 10 minutes after the break but Kerry pulled away in the closing stages.
