CHRIS HENRY IS set to miss out on the remainder of the Six Nations tournament due to a knee problem.
The Ireland flanker up the injury during Ulster’s RaboDirect Pro12 win over Zebre and scans have revealed that he has cartilage tear which will require surgery – meaning he will spend around four weeks on the sidelines.
A brief statement released by the IRFU today reads: “Following an MRI scan today, it was confirmed to the Ireland medical team that back row Chris Henry suffered a cartilage tear to his right knee while playing last Friday.”
Declan has addeed Munster back row Tommy O’Donnell and Leinster’s Ian Madigan to then 30-strong squad ahead of this weekend’s trip to Scotland, while Connacht centre Dave McSharry is out with a groin injury.
