Ex-LOI star Chris Forrester still has a knack for scoring special goals in England

The Peterborough United captain has found the back of the net this afternoon.

CHRIS FORRESTER EARNED a reputation for scoring some stunning goals during his time at St Patrick’s Athletic.

Since making the move to Peterborough United just over a year ago, the 23-year-old Dubliner hasn’t been on the scoresheet as regularly as he’s found himself playing in a much deeper midfield role.

But the Posh captain bagged his second of the season in the League One clash with Bury this afternoon — and what a finish it was.

Playing a wonderful one-two with Tom Nichols with his first touch, Forrester coolly lifts the ball over Bury goalkeeper Ben William to draw the home side level.

They went on to win 3-1 and move up to fifth in the table.
