CHLOE AND SAM Magee booked their place in the mixed doubles last 32 at the Badminton World Championships in Nanjing, China.
The Donegal siblings needed just 29 minutes against Fredrik Kristensen and Solvar Flaten Jorgensen in their opening round match, taking a 21-13 21-8 win.
They will now face the Taiwanese pair Chi-Lin Wang and Chia Hsin Lee, who are 14th seeds, on Tuesday afternoon for a place in the last 16.
Dublin teenager Nhat Nguyen also begins his tournament on Tuesday when he takes on fifth seed Srikanth Kidambi in the opening round of the men’s singles.
