Third time lucky for Charlie Austin after two disallowed goals in a minute

QPR took the lead at home to Manchester City before Sergio Aguero’s equaliser.

QPR’S CHARLIE AUSTIN has finally got his goal in this evening’s Premier League game against Manchester City after having two disallowed in the space of a minute.

First, the Rs striker headed home a cross from the right flank but was flagged offside. When the resulting free-kick was taken moments later, however, City keeper Joe Hart played it straight to Austin, who blasted the ball into the back of the net.

Luckily for Hart, he had touched the ball twice while trying to kick it and referee Mike Dean rightly ordered him to take it again.

There was nothing wrong with his strike after a pass from Eduardo Vargas on 21 minutes and Austin had his sixth league goal of the season.

11 minutes later, the Premier League champions equalised through Sergio Aguero, who controlled the ball exquisitely before rifling into the back of the net.

Yaya Toure has also had a shot which struck the young supporter on the head. Poor girl.
