Champions League draw: Chelsea get Benfica, Barca meet Milan in quarters

The Pensioners have been handed a trip to Portugal while Pep Guardiola’s side take on the Serie A leaders.

CHELSEA HAVE BEEN drawn with Portuguese side Benfica in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The Londoners progressed through the last 16 stage thanks to a dramatic win over Napoli at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday and have been awarded with a trip to Lisbon for the first leg.

Reigning champions Barcelona have been pitted against seven-time winners AC Milan, who just about overcame Arsenal in the last round, while in-form Bayern Munich take on Dider Deschamps’ Marseille.

Surprise inclusion APOEL Nicosia continue to make Cypriot history and face La Liga champions-elect Real Madrid at home before travelling to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The first legs will be played on 27/28 March and the return legs are scheduled for 3/4 April.
