Fabregas curls 25-yard free-kick in for his first Chelsea goal

Jose Mourinho’s side picked up a 3-1 win in their pre-season friendly with Vitesse Arnhem.

CHELSEA ARE PLAYING feeder club Vitesse Arnhem in a friendly this evening with recent arrivals from La Liga Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas and Filipe Luis all starting at the GelreDome.

Costa set up Mohamed Salah for the opener before former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder Fabregas scored his very first goal for the club with a beautifully-taken free-kick to make it 2-0 going into half-time.

In the second half, Nemanja Matic got his name on the scoresheet before Uros Djurdjevic notched a consolation for the home side as it ended 3-1.
