Open Thread: What's the coolest landmark you've ever hurled in front of?

You could win a chance to bring someone home for the All-Ireland senior hurling championship.

WHETHER IT’S THE Rock of Cashel or the Sydney Opera House, wherever we are in the world at any given time, we all have a landmark we can look at and say confidently ‘yeah, that marks home’.

For 10-time All-Ireland winner Henry Shefflin, that landmark is Kilkenny Castle which has dominated the skyline of the Marble City for more than 800 years.

But today we want to know what landmark — local, national or international — screams ‘home’ for you?

Are you living in England and have you ever gone for a puck about in front of Big Ben?

Perhaps you’re across the Atlantic and you’ve fielded a high ball in front of Niagra Falls?

Let us know in the comments below.

Not only that, but you could win the chance to bring someone home for an All-Ireland senior hurling championship match with thanks to Centra and their #LiveWell campaign.

All you have to do is upload a picture of you and a hurley in front of a local, national or international landmark and upload it to social media using #LiveWell before 26 June.
