Census Johnston won't need a Halloween costume after suffering this nasty eye injury

WARNING: This is not for the faint-hearted.

CENSUS JOHNSTON CAME out of retirement to play for Samoa at the World Cup but the prop now faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

The Toulouse forward underwent surgery on a fractured eye socket yesterday and could now be out of action for a month.

The 34-year-old returned to Top 14 action at the weekend but was replaced during the first-half of Toulouse’s 12-10 defeat at Bordeaux.

He went under the knife on Sunday and then took to Twitter to provide an injury update with a difference.

On the bright side, he won’t have to dress up at the weekend.
