NEIL LENNON IS sizing up another bid to bring Kevin Doyle to Celtic.
Lennon revealed today that the out-of-sorts striker is still on his list of targets as he looks to strengthen during the transfer window.

Celtic nearly became Doyle’s saviour in January when they tried to rescue him from a nightmare season by signing him on a short-term loan.
The move fell through and the season ended with Doyle scoring just 9 goals in 44 games and also losing his place in the Ireland squad while Wolves were relegated to League One and manager Dean Saunders was sacked.
He wasn’t having a great time at Wolves and we just felt that coming to Celtic for a few months might have re-energised him. He’s got the talent, he’s got the quality and to be fair to him he had a good run towards the end of the season when started banging a few goals in for Wolves.
There’s an interest there in Kevin. There always has been.
Lennon also refused to rule out an attempt to sign Richard Dunne but said that at 33, the defender’s age made a move unlikely. Dunne was released by Aston Villa after injury prevented him from making a single appearance for the Midlands club last season but he returned to action last weekend as a substitute in Ireland’s friendly win over Georgia.
“He’s had a long time out with injury and just the way we go about our business now, his age might go against him. However, I’m not ruling that one out.
“He’s a player I’ve admired for a long, long time but I’m sure there’ll be a number of clubs interested in his services. Again, that’s a player we’ll think about but his age might rule him out of that.”

“I’ve always liked Kevin,” Lennon said at the announcement of the ‘Dublin Decider’ friendly between Celtic and Liverpool, which takes place in the Aviva Stadium on 10 August.
