THIS FORTUNATE BERAM Kayal finish from a beautifully worked move on 53 minutes has ultimately given Celtic a 2 – 1 win over Ajax in tonight’s Champions League clash at Celtic Park.

James Forrest had earlier smashed Neil Lennon’s side into the lead with a penalty on the stroke of half time.

It was a result thoroughly deserved by the Scots, but the Hoops still had to navigate a slightly shaky finish as substitute Nir Biton was issued a late red card before Lasse Schone pulled a goal back for the Eredivisie giants.

It was, however, too little too late as Celtic get off the mark to keep qualification hope alive in Group H.
