Carmelo Anthony's record-breaking 62 points included this half-court buzzer beater

CARMELO ANTHONY SET not one but two scoring records when he dropped 62 points on the Charlotte Bobcats last night. Firstly, he broke the New York Knicks record for most points in a game which had been held by Bernard King (60) since 1984.

He also broke Kobe Bryant’s record (61) for the most points in a game at Madison Square Garden since its current incarnation opened in 1968.

The icing on the cake though, this spectacular half-court effort on the buzzer to send the Knicks into half-time with a 21 point lead:
