CARLOW HAVE PULLED off a major shock in their Bord Gáis Energy Leinster U21 hurling championship quarter-final at Parnell Park tonight.
The Barrowsiders were highly unfancied against a side featuring the likes of Ciaran Kilkenny but Marty Kavanagh struck for a late and decisive goal to seal the victory and a place in the provincial championships last-four.

But it was nip and tuck throughout the second half with Dublin leading by a point coming into the closing minutes before Kavanagh raised the green flag, moments before the full-time whistle.
