CARL FRAMPTON HAS announced a promotional deal with Frank Warren.

The Belfast fighter, a former two-weight world champion, recently parted company with long-term manager Barry McGuigan, trainer Shane McGuigan and Cyclone Promotions.

Jamie Moore was confirmed as his new trainer earlier this month, while Matthew Macklin’s Mack The Knife (MTK) company have come on board in an advisory role.

This morning, an agreement between 30-year-old Frampton and Warren, whose channel BoxNation signed a deal with BT Sport last year, was revealed via Twitter.

Frampton (23-1) suffered his first-ever professional defeat back in January –going down by majority decision to Leo Santa Cruz in Las Vegas.

He was due to fight Andrew Gutierrez in a WBC featherweight title eliminator on 29 July but missed the weight by one pound before the bout was called off when Gutierrez picked up injuries to the face due to a freak accident in the shower.
