Capital punishment: Paul Galvin set for switch to Dublin club?

The former Footballer of the Year has moved to Dublin for a fashion course. But is he set for a club jersey makeover too?

PAUL GALVIN COULD be set for yet more headlines as he’s on the brink of a switch to St Vincent’s – if media reports are to be believed.

The controversial Kerry footballer has been linked with a transfer to the famous Marino club in today’s Evening Herald.

A club source told TheScore that the move is ‘not on the cards at the moment’.

The Herald also reports that “no transfer application” from Galvin has been received by the club.”

Galvin has recently relocated from Finuge in north Kerry to the capital in order to take up a place on a fashion studies course in DIT.

He has committed to Jack O’Connor’s Kerry squad for the coming season and was expected to continue representing his local side at club level.

Having enrolled in the Aungier St college for the next three years at least, DIT will also be hopeful the former Footballer of the Year lines out in the Sigerson Cup.
