MERSEYSIDE RIVALS LIVERPOOL and Everton have been kept apart in the draw for the Capital One Cup semi-finals.
Everton, who have never won the League Cup, will meet Manchester City in the two-legged semis which will be played in January.
Liverpool’s reward for their 6-1 demolition of Southampton this evening is a final four clash against Stoke City.
The first legs will be played in the week beginning 4 January with the return legs in the week beginning 25 January.
