There were a few early nerves. Ivor Robson told the crowd that Watson would get proceedings underway. But it was Simspon who was first up.
But, Watson was full of self-confidence and wasted little time in getting the crowd buzzing.
Just before his tee shot, he made sure the fans got behind him!
