SO THIS IS the story: 2012 Masters champion and all-round golf character Bubba Watson was in ESPN headquarters this week, with his clubs, and his caddy, and decided to play a few shots. Indoors.
When he found his ball resting on an employee’s keyboard he adopted Rule 1 from the Happy Gilmore book of golf (“play it as it lies”) and asked said employee if she would mind moving.
It’s a tough lie, and not a great stance either, but Bubba’s a pro and managed to get the ball back into play while only knocking a few keys off her keyboard.
Apparently this wasn’t staged and it isn’t an ad; this is just what happens when Bubba Watson visits your office.
