BT SPORT WERE left red-faced this evening after one of their analysts made an inappropriate gesture live on air.
At the beginning of its Sunday Night Football show, presenter James Richardson was welcoming his guest Raphael Honigstein when the German journalist responded by jokingly making the hand gesture which suggests masturbating.

It was laughed off but Richardson was later forced to apologise on behalf of Honigstein, who failed to return to the panel after an ad break.
Fans of the Guardian’s Football Weekly will be familiar with Richardson and Honigstein from their work on the popular podcast, while ‘AC Jimbo’ is also the former host of Channel Four’s Football Italia.
