BRYAN COOPER FACES a lengthy spell out of the saddle after he confirmed he broke his left femur in a fall at Down Royal on Monday.
Cooper, who rode three winners at this year’s Cheltenham festival, is a rising star on the National Hunt scene having also piloted First Lieutenant to victory in Aintree.

The 20-year-old was riding Tepalo in the Weatherbys Beginners Chase when he came off the Tony Martin-trained horse.
