Brooklyn Beckham is given Manchester United chance

The 14-year old was training with the Premier League champions on Thursday.

BROOKLYN BECKHAM HAS had the opportunity to impress his father’s ex-club after a training session with Premier League champions Manchester United on Thursday according to a number of reports.

United’s coaching staff were said to have been keeping an eye on the 14-year-old who was in the academy at LA Galaxy during Beckham’s time in the MLS. He has also had a trial with Chelsea and has been involved with the QPR youth set-up.

David Beckham was in attendance at the Manchester United training ground in Carrington on Thursday and other sessions are planned before the academy staff establish whether the teenager should be given an extended opportunity with the club.

Beckham, of course, was part of ‘Fergie’s Fledglings’ — the United youth team that won the 1992 FA Youth Cup — alongside the Neville brothers, Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes before the group became crucial to the club over the next decade so he is all too familiar with the importance of giving youth a chance.

Whether Beckham Jr. makes it or not remains to be seen but in this clip, alongside his brother, he’s not afraid to mix it with some world stars:
