'Shit happens!' Brian O'Driscoll sums up his final game perfectly

The retired centre paid tribute to outgoing club captain Leo Cullen too.

BRIAN O’DRISCOLL WAS still smiling at the end of a spectacular rugby career that brought him just about every dream he ever chased.

The Leinster and Ireland centre limped off after just eight minutes of his playing swansong last night at the RDS but still ended up on the winning team. Following the game, he posed for a dressing room snap with fellow retiree Leo Cullen. He tweeted that picture this morning with a superb message.

O’Driscoll’s wife, Amy Huberman, also tweeted a couple of congratulatory, and insightful, messages this morning.
