AFTER 16 YEARS competing at the highest level, Tyrone captain Brian Dooher called time today on a truly brilliant career in inter-county football.
Now 36, the Clann na nGael clubman retires with two National League medals, five Ulster Championships, and — most importantly of all — three All-Ireland titles, including two as captain in 2005 and 2008.
Always one to lead by example, Dooher also picked up three All-Star nods for his individual contribution to each of the Red Hand’s All-Ireland winning seasons.
