'This is for dad': Brad Thorn's Bledisloe Cup preview is absolutely perfect

If Brad Thorn doesn’t get you pumped, nobody will.

SKY Sport NZ / YouTube

THIRTY NINE YEARS old and still refusing to call time on his career, Brad Thorn is the kind of guy New Zealand rugby likes to set its watch by.

The ex-Leinster lock does a brilliant job narrating the above mini-feature of his own career and the drive instilled by his father intertwined wit the trans-Tasman rivalry with the nation that nurtured his talent.

Though we can’t help but feel it took a fair bit of arm-twisting to get Thorn to sit and chat about himself for this length of time. Or maybe he just didn’t feel quite so chatty during his season with Leinster.

New Zealand are aiming to keep their winning run going when they face Australia in Sydney tomorrow (kick-off 11.05 Irish time).

Munster always a draw but O’Gara feels there is still much to pick up in Paris
