Ivory Coast keeper Boubacar Barry was out cold after colliding with the post

That’s what you call taking one for the team.

WHILE ATTEMPTING TO make a save during Lokeren’s game with Club Brugge, Boubacar Barry’s head crashes painfully into the post on Sunday.

The Ivorian goalkeeper, who lay unconscious for a number of minutes, was taken to hospital for brain scans and released this afternoon after luckily being diagnosed with just a severe concussion.

Although he doesn’t remember the incident, the 33-year-old said he is feeling better but will miss the remainder of the Beligan Pro League season.
