How Team42 conquered all comers at touch rugby... with a little help from a former Ireland star

We coached a team for the Cadbury #BoostYourAwareness Touch Rugby Blitz.

IF YOU’VE BEEN following the progress of Team42 — or Donnybrook Touch Rugby Club as they were called before we adopted them — you’ll know they’ve spent the past month getting ready for the Cadbury #BoostYourAwareness Touch Rugby Blitz.

Well it seems the top coaching we provided — in the shape of Tania Rosser, veteran of three World Cups with Ireland — paid off as Team42 completely dominated last Friday’s event, going undefeated on their way to the title.

As you can see in the video above, they were brilliant in attack and defence.

After beating HSBC 4-1 in the final, Team42 were presented with their trophy by Ulster and Ireland star Paddy Jackson.

Of course, in this instance, it’s not the winning but the taking part that really counts as the entry fees from the event went to Aware.

Fair play to everyone who took part.

Cadbury Boost are proud sponsors of Irish rugby and ran the Cadbury #BoostYourAwareness Touch Rugby Blitz on Friday, 19 May at Lansdowne Rugby Club.

All proceeds from the Cadbury #BoostYourAwareness Touch Rugby Blitz went to Aware.
