Bonnar exits Wexford after defeat to Limerick

Defeat to Treaty is final outing for Tipperary great in top Wexford position.

COLM BONNAR LAST night resigned as Wexford senior hurling manager after seeing his side lose their qualifier clash with Limerick.

Wexford went down 1-22 to 2-13 to Donal O’Grady’s side.

The Tipperary legend witnessed his side exit the Leinster championship to Kilkenny last month.

Later yesterday evening, Galway annihilated Clare 4-25 0-20 in their All-Ireland qualifier. Joe Canning hit 1-09 at Pearse Stadium as the Tribesmen got their summer back on track.

Galway will face Cork or Antrim next.
