Bohemians strike up partnership with US club

The Dublin side has come to an agreement with Baltimore Bohemians.

AIRTRICITY LEAGUE SIDE Bohemians have announced a partnership with a football club based in the US.

Bohs, who have put an emphasis on youth in recent years due to financial problems, are hoping to benefit from the link-up with Premier Development League outfit Baltimore Bohemians, which will see players exchanged by the two clubs.

According to the club’s website, coaches from both will cooperate together and friendlies are likely to be arranged in the future.

“This link-up with Baltimore Bohs, like our recently announced partnership with the North Dublin Schoolboys’ League, opens up exciting development opportunities for players,” said Bohemian FC president Matt Devaney.

“We aim to offer various avenues through junior ranks into senior football.

“We look forward to fruitful relations with the directors, players and supporters of Baltimore Bohemians.”
