BLACKPOOL FANS ARE unhappy with how owner Karl Oyston is running the club and showed their discontent with an unusual protest yesterday.

The Championship side, sitting just above the drop zone, took on promotion-chasing Burnley at Bloomfield Road.
The visitors claimed a 1-0 win and play was stopped temporarily after home fans threw around 200 tennis balls and tangerines onto the pitch — much to the disgust of player/manager Barry Ferguson.

Ferguson told the BBC: “The fans have got every right to demonstrate if they don’t like the chairman or the board.
“I would just rather they do it before the game or after the game. At that stage, we were on top of them.”
