And attention turned to France next summer. Niall Carson

No injuries & didn’t lose. Job done.
That away jersey is lovely
Arter will definately be in the squad and quite possibly the starting 11, depending on what formation MON goes with. He had a very good game tonight and looks comfortable on the ball. I think he is a far better option than Quinn who works hard but just isnt good enough of an all-rounder.
Duffy was excellent up until their goal where he was to blame but I think he is probably running a good chance of starting alongside O’Shea…..Not sure I would have O’Shea starting but im sure O’Neill will.
Long looks like a far far better player these days and he will frighten defenses in France.
I still dont think Brady is a left-back but he has to play, if for his dead ball skills alone. World class.
I think this is the first championships that I would have no clue who the manager will play as his first choice 11. Really have no clue. Normally there is uncertainty over 1 or 2 places but with this squad I think you could see maybe only 6 or 7 are nailed on starters. This is a good thing. A far better team and a far better set up than when we went to Poland. COYBIG
Arter has to go to France
Why? He has done nothing to earn a place on the plane to France
Really don’t rate him THAT highly. Great back-up, but not in the starting 11.
Anyone getting worried about Randolph?
Yes. Kieran Westwood is a better goalkeeper
Jeez I thought Randolph looked very solid
Arter and McCarthy in the middle would be our best option I reckon
McCarthy has only ever once replicated what he does for Everton week in/out in an Ireland shirt. He just doesn’t fit. As limited as Whelan is, he’s the better option. Does the dirty work, keeps it simple and helps out the back four all game long.
Looks like we’ll be playing a diamond so plenty of room for centre midfielders
Like McGeady, I have some concerns on McCarthy and their confindence going into the Euros. My own thoughts, Euro 2016, we may see a very different Ireland midfield come Brazil WC qualification in September.
O’Kane looked decent with a few good touches and passes..
Get him on the plane
Course he has,he’s playing in the premiership most weeks
