Leeds player marks his debut with a Cantona-esque kung fu kick

Gaetano Berardi put himself about during his first Leeds game

GAETANO BERADRI MADE his Leeds debut during his team’s 2-1 win over Accrington Stanley in the Capital One Cup last night. As is expected with a new player, he wanted to make an impression on his new teammates. Well, he did that but probably left a greater impression on his opponent’s thigh.

Was it the worst kung fu kick you will ever see? No, but when you even have to ask such a ridiculous question then you know it definitely warranted a red. As for the worst kung fu kick, it is obviously a toss up between Nigel De Jong and Eric Cantona.

De Jong’s was arguably more harmful but as soon as you go into the crowd, you automatically should win.

Actually, if you watch the De Jong one again, it may be a tie.
