French fullback lands penalty trick-shot from 5m line, still not a patch on Paddy Jackson

Nice try Benjamin Thiery but the Ulster out-half still has your number.

FRANCE FULL-BACK BENJAMIN Thiery showed off some remarkable goal-kicking skills to bisect the posts from the touchline, on the 5m line.

Thiery, who plays with Grenoble in the Top 14, landed this impressive effort during his team’s training session earlier this month. Handily, there was a camera around to capture the feat.

Thiery looked pretty chuffed with himself and rightly so. However, someone at Grenoble should point him in the direction of this clip of Paddy Jackson swerving over this kick from the Ravenhill tryline back in October 2012.
