Huge forward argues with tiny back; chaos ensues

A Top 14 prop wanted to take a quick tap rather than have a scrum. The world no longer makes sense.

A FEW WEEKS ago Bayonne were badly beaten in a Top 14 game away to Castres and naturally, tempers began to flare in the second half as Bayonne tried, and failed, to mount a comeback.

At one stage, there was a serious difference of opinion between two Bayonne substitutes over what to do with a penalty. Sub prop Giorgi Jgenti really, really wanted to go quickly but replacement scrum half Christophe Loustalot opted for a scrum. Jgenti didn’t handle his disappointment very well.

You know you badly need a score when a Top 14 prop is advocating any course of action other than taking a scrum.
