Bayern players on track for record bonuses
It’s nice work if you can get it for the Bundesliga side.
BAYERN MUNICH PLAYERS are to be rewarded with record bonuses if they beat Borussia Monchengladbach and FC Augsburg.
The Bavarian giants have been in stunning form so far this season, winning 13 of their 16 league games to leave them 11 points clear of second-placed Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.
They also have set a new record by only conceding once in their eight league matches away from home.

Should they maintain their incredible start and defeat Gladbach on Friday, they will have recorded the best run of results for the first half of the season in Bundesliga history.
But Jupp Heynckes isn’t taking anything for granted and knows Gladbach will be a tough challenge.
“As I said, I studied them [Gladbach]. They are a team that are well organised and from last season we know that they are good with counter attacks,” Heynckes said.
“They adapt really well to defend, but offensively they are different without Marco Reus. But Monchengladbach are a team with good away results.
“They drew 1-1 against Schalke and it is not easy to win 3-2 in Hannover as well. That’s why we have to be careful.
“Of course both teams want to win this game. We want to finish this year with a success. Win this game in the league and keep our good run going.”
Bayern side then face Augsburg in the German Cup on December 18 and should they win that match then a handsome bonus awaits the squad.
The players have already been given a generous financial reward for their triumph over Borussia Dortmund in the German Super Cup and also for finishing top of their Champions League group.
It was reported that this bonus was a five-figure number.
