The Barnsley keeper dribbled the ball in his box unchallenged for 2 minutes today

Themselves and Huddersfield knew they were safe.

THERE WERE HIGHLY unusual scenes in the Championship today in the game between Huddersfield and Barnsley.

The two sides were in danger of being relegated this afternoon, however Peterborough’s loss to Crystal Palace meant both teams ended up safe.

With two minutes remaining, the result of the Peterborough match came through, leading to ecstatic celebrations from both sets of fans.

Moreover, in one of the most surreal acts of the season, for the last two minutes, Barnsley keeper Luke Steele dribbled the ball around his box unchallenged, as these two normally heated sets of fans celebrated in tandem.

Also, look out for the incredibly abrupt manner in which fans storm the field once the final whistle blows.
