BARCELONA’S MIDFIELD ISN’T getting any younger and it’s with that in mind that the club today announced the €2.2 million signing of Croatian wunderkind Alen Hailović from Dinamo Zagreb.
The 17-year old left-footed midfielder has signed a five-year deal with the Catalan giants and the club are instantly taking the pressure off the player known as the ‘mini-Messi’ by announcing he’ll start his career with the Barcelona B team.
The midfielder had been linked with moves to Manchester City and Arsenal but opted for a move to Spain instead.
Hailović has been known to players of Football Manager for a while after making his debut for Dinamo at just 16 years and 101 days old; the youngest ever player to play for the club.
