Laulala, Payne to start for Barbarians with Parisse named captain

Coach Dai Young has made a dozen changes in a bid to topple the Lions.

THE BARBARIANS HAVE his morning named the side that will face the British and Irish Lions in this Saturday’s tour opener in Hong Kong.

The side shows 12 changes from the XV who shipped five tries to England in a 40-12 loss at Twickenham on Sunday.

Munster centre Casey Laulala is on of the three men retained by coach Dai Young with Ulster fullback Jared Payne one of the dozen drafted in for the pinnacle of the BaaBaas’ season.

Marco Wentzel is the only pack member to retain his place from Sunday’s defeat, he forms a second row partnership with Dean Mumm, capped 33 times by the Wallabies.
