The Baa-Baas' outrageous skill-set now extends to blindfolded place-kicking

Well, for a few of them anyway.

ROBBIE DEANS PROMISED to ensure his Barbarians side would not shirk the core elements of rugby when preparing to face Ireland in Thomond Park.

So, naturally, the squad were sent out for a spot of blindfolded goal-kicking during today’s Captain’s Run.

The above is – by a long shot – our favourite attempt. Leinster’s Zane Kirchner is spun before addressing the ball and the ultra-laid back South African finds himself completely discombobulated.

Many of his team-mates did manage to connect cleanly though (and to be fair to Kirchner he had the most difficult approach to make).
