The northside outfit ran out 2-19 to 0-5 winners over Parnells at Parnell Park.
St Brigid’s — winners of the title in 2011 — hammered Erin’s Isle 3-17 to 0-6 with goals from Philly Ryan, Barry Cahill and B Costello.
2010 champions Kilmacud Crokes saw off Whitehall Colmcille on a scoreline of 0-13 to 0-5 at Silver Park, after a late venue change.
At O’Toole Park meanwhile, St Annes saw off Round Towers by 0-10 to 1-6.
Ballyboden St Enda’s ran out 2-10 to 0-7 victors over St Maur’s with Andrew Kerin and Sam Maloney hitting 1-3 each.
