LESS THAN 15 minutes after KJ Choi (above) aced the 14th during his third round at The Barclays on Saturday, Greg Chalmers, in the following group, did this:

It’s rare for two holes in one to be recorded on the same hole on the same day but for back-to-back groups to register a 1 is, as far as we can tell, unprecedented.

It’s also Chalmers’ second ace of 2013, his first coming on the 16th hole in the final round of the Valero Texas Open in April. He is the only player on the PGA Tour to have two holes in one this year.
